Even though Eskan had previously won a Queen’s Award (for International Trade), the application for an award for a product needed to impress the award panel with a specific achievement which required different skills. Now you’ve won an award, what advice would you give to others thinking of applying? Why hold back? If you are proud of something your company has achieved, take a look at the Queen’s Award criteria. Even if you aren’t successful, the process can benefit your company in many ways
How will you use your award to promote your business going forward? Innovation is at the heart of our company. The accelerating pace of change means that what is great today can be replaced tomorrow. The product life cycle can be so much shorter now, so constant innovation is essential. Eskan uses the Queen’s Award to promote our ability to rise to these worldwide market-place challenges.
What do you consider to be the benefits of being a Queen’s Award holder? Having the prestigious Queen’s Award sets our company apart from its competitors and appeals to potential customers. It is very effective in increasing business worldwide, and adds value to the company. And finally, could you please share some thoughts on what the Platinum Jubilee means to you? A time to celebrate our head of state who is admired throughout the world. This celebration will add to the already outstanding British reputation of which we are extremely proud.

As soon as Eskan have another opportunity in any of the Queen’s Award categories we shall be applying again
