Natural Arch e 65- by 78-foot arch was formed by the erosion of wind, water, and ice that cut away the so¥ sandstone and le¥ a hard rock cap that arches dramatically across the sky. e arch and surrounding 2,445 acres were once home to prehistoric groups and later the hunting grounds of the Cherokee.
