We print in this issue our full catalogue, and now will be a good time for you to select your books for the holiday use. We especially commend the works upon prophecy for which there is so much demand at this time. Mr. Dean, the manager of the Book Department, has sur passed our expectation in the trade that has been developed during the summer months. O n S eptember sixth the Fishermen’s Club closed a two weeks’ Evangelistic campaign at Gardena. We believe it one of the most successful meetings we have ever held. After much prayer the young people of the Methodist church invited the Club down. Then when we found that the Baptist church was the only other Protestant church there we asked the Lord to lead them to join and make it a Union Meeting.

seating four hundred people was rented, also chairs, and some of the doubtful thought it was too large and too expensive. However, we asked God to supply our needs and He rewarded our faith. We figured that seventy-five dollars would cover everything. There were seventy-five dollars and six cents given toward the work and all indebtedness was paid. It was the daily answering to prayer that made the meetings a success. We trusted God to lead us and each morning had cottage prayer meetings and they were seasons of blessing and inspiration as we gathered with the saints of Gardena to lay hold on God and claim His promises, to break down obstinate wills, to comfort broken-hearted mothers whose sons were wayward, to send in un saved, to heal the sick and to anoint the speakers. I have never seen such definite and immediate answers as in those two weeks. The results of the meetings will never be known until we meet Him and He tells us.
