Starting my career in Japanese organizations in Vietnam, I dreamed of working in Japan. I enrolled at the International University of Japan (IUJ) to deepen my knowledge in international development or business management. Courses like Econometrics and Small to Medium-sized Firms in Japan provided practical skills applicable to my future job. Exposure to diverse perspectives within the IUJ community fostered a global mindset. A year before graduation, I began job hunting with the help of the Career Support team. Securing a summer internship in Japan's manufacturing sector was a pivotal moment, offering insight into Japanese work culture. Attending information sessions and receiving guidance from them refined my skills. After significant effort, I received an offer from YONEX, a global brand and sporting goods manufacturer. Currently, I work in the Material Division, Production Expediting Department, ensuring materials meet quality standards. My journey from Vietnam to Japan underscores the importance of ambition and persistence. I encourage future IUJ students to seize opportunities and stay determined. Success comes to those who keep pushing forward, even in the face of challenges.
