GIVING WASTE MATERIAL A NEW PURPOSE
GOTS The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers worldwide. It defines high level envi- ronmental criteria along the entire supply chain of organic textiles and also requires compliance with social criteria. RADDIS ® LÄSSIG has joined with Raddis ® in sourcing cotton from sustainable and regenerative cultivation in southern India. The project contributes to the active restoration, development and evolution of the conditions necessary for a promising support of the eco-system, the local economy and the people involved. From day one, the Raddis ® System has subscribed to the guidelines of regenerative organic certification.
By using recycled materials and innovative processes, we are contributing to the circular economy and the conservation of resources. For example, many LÄSSIG products are made from waste plastic (e.g. disposable bottles and production waste) that has been recycled and processed into new material.
