HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL Drop-off Dates for 2025
The City of Sunrise and the City of Plantation have partnered to provide residents with opportunities to safely dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronics. Drop-off events are held on Saturdays throughout the year, and are open exclusively to residents of Sunrise and Plantation free of charge and with proof of residency. LOCATION: City of Sunrise Public Works – 10500 NW 55 Street 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 2025 DATES: January 4 July 19 April 19 October 25 LOCATION: City of Plantation Public Works Compound – 750 NW 91st Avenue 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 2025 DATES: February 1 September 6 June 7 November 22 Residents may bring up to two file boxes of personal documents per household for on-site shredding at the January, April, July and October events in Sunrise.
