REGIONAL SERVICES The Office of Research facilitates the University’s response to governments in the Caribbean during the hurricane season. The Office supported engineers, public health and psycho-social responses to hurricane impacts in the Caribbean. The Office of Research collaborated with the Disaster Risk Reduction Centre to develop a Volunteer for Services form and information letter to be sent out to The UWI Community for persons to indicate their willingness to assist in the event of a natural disaster. Their information will be kept on file to facilitate travel and accommodation arrangements in order to render assistance to those communities in need.
