Why did you volunteer to be a Wellbeing Officer? I volunteered to be a Wellbeing Officer because when I am required to offer help to others, this is also a process that I can learn how to help myself. In addition, there is no doubt that it makes you feel good when you are helping others. What do you do to look after your wellbeing? From my personal experience, there are two useful ways of looking after one person’s wellbeing. One way is to reading books such as novels or books about positive psychology. The other way is to write a diary so that you can have a dialogue with yourself.
What are your book or podcast recommendations on the topic of mental health? I would like to recommend the series books, “Chicken Soup for the Soul” and the book, “Happier: Learn the Secrets to Daily Joy and Lasting Fulfilment.” written by Tal Ben- Shahar.
