King's Business - 1951-11

under thé guidance of the Spirit, and to conquer the enemy. We learn to use the Word of God efficiently. We learn to be protected from the attacks of Satan both on our minds and our hearts because of this armor. We Need the Armor Because There Are Victories to Be Won In every department of life God has provided sufficient power to work vic toriously with Him and successfully for Him. The mind is to have victory in thought and the heart is to have vic tory in devotion. Our ministry is( to be filled with victory in turning men to God and in helping the saints. There are victories to be obtained in the field of education, of study, and of practice. Internal victory over ourselves is needed and external victory over Satan. This victory is assured when we put on the whole armor of God. “ This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” THE WORK AND THE WORKERS ( Continued, from, Page 5) to move in with other welfare organiza tions when disaster causes a loss of the Scriptures as in the case of the recent flood in the Midwest. According to a secretary of the Society, Rev. Richard E. West, “ If ever a people needed the optimism of the Bible, it is now.” The American Bible Society is prepared to supply Scriptures to the limit of its ability. Cry of the Orient A new film which is an hour-long documentation in sound and color pre sents a comprehensive view of mission ary activity in post-war Japan and is entitled, “ The Cry of the Orient.” The story commences at Spokane’s airfield and traces the activity of a preaching foursome of evangelists through the needy fields of the Far East. The film is said to be packed with tragedy, pathos and drama. India Gospels Plan A new campaign to provide India missionaries with an adequate supply of Gospels has been launched as a special project by the World Vision organiza tion of Spokane, Washington. They de scribe India as a land of 400 million heartbreaks and 333 million gods. The high rate of exchange of American dol lars makes the Gospel of John distribu tion plan highly practical, with each Gospel costing but a fraction of a pen ny. It is hoped that funds will be pro vided for at least 100,000 copies monthly.
