Project Manager – FM Workstreams (Major Capital Projects)
Knowledge and Experience Thorough and comprehensive relevant post qualification experience at a senior level (E) Experience of working with multiple stakeholders across construction and client teams to successfully operationalise a large scale, complex new building (E) Experience of Staff Management (D) Experience of managing complex stakeholders (E) Experience of financial management (E) Experience of Higher Education Capital Development (D) Degree or equivalent in relevant subject. (D) Membership of relevant professional body (D) Some knowledge of public procurement processes (OJEU) and new forms of building procurement methods (D) Ability to access all parts of a construction site (appropriate CSCS card) (D) Demonstrable experience of: (E) ▪ Contract Administration & Construction Project Management ▪ Implementing a building BIM strategy and knowledge of BIM in building operation ▪ Developing and implementing building operational and maintenance strategies and procedures ▪ Soft Landings methodology Knowledge of the following areas: (D) • CDM Regulations • Health & Safety Legislation • British & European Standards/ codes of practice
• JCT Standard Forms of Building Contract • Procurement and Handover procedures
An understanding of liability and contract law (E) Experience of negotiating fees and variation costs. (E)
