RACHEL HOLMES CDW Member and Choreographer
Rachel Holmes began her formal dance training with Anneliese Von Oettigen, founder of Cincinnati Civic Ballet, and continued training at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. Upon early graduation from high school, Rachel went on to work with the Dance Theatre of Harlem ensemble company, Joan Miller, Elisa Monte, Nejla Yatkin, and Annmaria Mazzini. In 2014, Rachel moved to Jackson, WY where she has continued to dance with CDW throughout the years. She enjoys passing on knowledge she received from some of her favorite educators such as Francesca Corkle, Yoko Ichino, and Ronald Perry to the students she’s been fortunate to teach.
AMY “RAY” KINGWILL CDW Dancer and Choreographer
Amy “Ray” Kingwill is a lover of movement. Born and raised in Jackson, her earliest memories are of being in the studios of DW. She returned to the region in 2020 after many years as a performer, arts administrator, and Pilates Instructor primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. She still feels the most herself on a wood floor; seeking joy, silliness and pleasure in every roll and lift. Dancing with CDW for her second year, she is pleased to present her own choreography, where in collaboration with the dancers, she looks forward to sharing her personal style and voice. She holds a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and is a comprehensively certified Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates Instructor and Functional Movement Specialist, among other certifications and accolades of equally great and little importance.
