What has AMBA accreditation and membership of the AMBA network meant for your school since your accreditation was first announced? “The news that we had received AMBA accreditation was celebrated among our whole community and local partners. Its achievement reflects the process of continuous improvement that UCU Business School has been going through and is the result of the school’s educational quality. Our aim of being the business school of reference in Uruguay with an international outlook has always been a priority and our teams put a lot of effort into this. “AMBA accreditation has also opened up new spaces of international co-operation. We have become more widely recognised and improved the level of our international academic partners, which allows us to enhance the experience we can offer to our participants and professors.” How would you describe your business school’s unique selling point to other members of the AMBA network? “UCU Business School offers its participants a truly transformative experience, no matter the length of the individual programme studied. “Our programmes’ learning journeys emphasise a humanising model of business education that promotes integration through diversity, community impact, internationalisation and self- awareness as an engine for growth and leadership. “This model is based on a dual-training approach, in which technical and classical disciplines relating to the study of management challenges stand alongside deep dives into leadership, personal branding and an introspective development of the self.”
