Roles & Responsibilities

• To support the implementation of the business development strategy for URSL to deliver the five year business plan • To support bidding activity for URSL bid responses for projects and FM opportunities, and contribute to additional sales proposals as appropriate by providing accurate and competitive FM costs, ensuring all bid documents have been thoroughly examined and all potential costs to URSL have been identi- fied and accounted for • To work closely with URSL sinking fund and finance colleagues to ensure accurate and transparent costs for lifecycle and utilities are generated for bids • To work closely with URSL procurement to ensure accurate and competitive costs are obtained from sub-contractors for bids and proposals

• To regularly benchmark productivity assumptions against internal data and industry standards

• To develop appropriate client and consultant relationships

• To liaise with URSL operational teams as required, particularly around build-up of labour costs and for handover of successful projects from BD to operations

• To support the development of appropriate operational delivery and commercial solutions

• Input into and control of commercial aspects and impacts of solutions and responses

• To work with the URSL Bid Director / Bid Manager to ensure all sign-off processes are followed for all URSL bid activity, ensuring appropriate delegated authority boundaries are adhered to

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience of estimating all major FM services for winning bids

• Excellent Excel skills and goodWord skills

• Highly numerate, with well developed ability to accurately manipulate numerical information

• Strong analytical and reasoning abilities

• FM services and industry knowledge and experience
