I celand is an extraordinarily beautiful country with countless waterfalls, rugged coastlines, mountains, beaches, lava flows, moss fields and glaciers. In the summer months there is no “night” - the skies remain in constant twilight between sunset and sunrise. For photography the “golden hour” lasts literally hours. To catch the best light, it involved staying up late nights that evolved into early mornings. During mid-July the sun was setting at 11:30PM and rose again at 3:30AM!
