Having fostered kittens for the last 5 years, I know their beauty, love & brilliance. All Souls Day Kittenz was created to bring attention to the plight of kittens within the shelter system. Each kitten fostered in my care, (currently that tally is 56) gets a portrait. These paintings are to bring awareness to the precarious lives of kittens in kill shelters, to educate people, make you aware that these little souls came to love, and be loved, while also raising money to support kitten fosters. I believe we can change the outcome for kittens in the shelters today. With enough awareness, more foster homes, more manpower to staff neonatal newborn care in shelters, we can create a world where these babies who come to love stay around long enough to get the job done.
