Everyone knows Belinda Carlisle the stunning lead singer of “The Go Gos,” Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee, uber successful Solo Recording Artist, and now adding to her list of accomplishments a lifelong “Animal Advocate.” On a recent interview Belinda gave on “E! News” she was asked, “Belinda, Why do you like animals better than people?” and she quickly responded “It’s just the way it is!” APA was formed in 2014 and helps the multitude of stray animals on the streets of India. It has also expanded into Thailand and Southeast Asia. APA has helped create employment for the lower caste and trafficked in India by helping stray animals get the proper care they need. APA has already treated over 30,000 animals with life saving medical services and other urgent needs.
