As my children grew up and left the nest I realized my calling was to continue to help animals. In the early 2000's I began networking with several rescue organizations. After fostering dogs with one local rescue group for 2 years I decided that rescue was where my heart was and is! Over the years came marriage, children and more pets. I did my fair share of saving animals throughout my young adulthood. My children always had various pets as they were growing up. They experienced how to care for numerous dogs, cats, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, hamsters, gerbils, and more.
