TERMS & CONDITIONS BIDDING: Each animal on which there are two or more bids will be sold to the highest bidder. TERMS: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All cattle will be paid for immediately after the sale. Checks must be made payable to the American Brahman Breeders Association. Upon the sale of each lot there is a contract between buyer and seller and any misunderstanding, confusion, or dispute that may arise must be settled between buyer and seller. Sale management shall have no responsibility or liability. DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters will be final. REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES: The sale management will transfer the registration certificate to the new owner’s membership with the American Brahman Breeders Association within 30 days of the sale. CATTLE TO BE EXPORTED: Animals that are sold for export must be paid for at the time of the sale. It will be the HANDLING: As their sale is affected, all animals will be maintained at the purchaser’s risk. responsibility of the purchaser of these cattle for export to make arrangements with the seller for the care of the animal after the sale. The International Brahman Sale will place the cattle in the care of the consignor for the new owner at the price of $8.00 per head per day (paid by purchaser) until they are shipped. BREEDERS GUARANTEE: Every animal in this sale is, to the best of the breeder’s knowledge, free from any disease and are all sound. Bred females will be considered breeders without further guarantee. Buyer has 30 days from the date of the sale to have an accredited veterinarian check pregnancy status of bred females. Open or exposed females will be guaranteed by the seller to be a breeder for a maximum of one year following the sale date or for young heifers until they reach two years of age. If an animal fails to breed during the previously established time limit, it may be returned to the seller in good condition. Seller reserves the right to try to breed said animal for six months and if it proves to be a breeder, return it at the buyer’s expense. If the animal proves to be a nonbreeder, an animal of comparable rank or credit on the purchase of another animal will be offered. If heifers are aspirated prior to being bred there is NO breeding guarantee. If cattle are purchased for foreign export, cattle are sold “As Is” and the buyer will take full responsibility of animal, unless prior agreements are made before final bid is made. HEALTH: Standard health certificates will be provided to the buyer. If animals are purchased for export the additional testing and health certificates are the responsibility of the buyer. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements from the auction box will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalog and all other announcements. LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The American Brahman Breeders Association and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident that may occur. TRANSPORTATION: Transportation of cattle can be arranged.
