It’s been widely documented that veganism is the single biggest way to reduce our impact on the planet, and with so many incredible options now, I encourage everyone to give it a try.
DirtyBones,SecondFloor,KinglyCourt In a place where the menu is traditionally meat heavy, you probably wouldn't expect to find a vegan option, but these guys offer a plant-based meaty-style patty so that you can get involved with the burger action too. ShoryuRamen,GroundFloor,KinglyCourt I lose count of how many times I've tucked into Shoryu's spicy vegetarian ramen. It's beautiful. Both of their veggie ramens are listed as vegetarian, but they're actually totally vegan. Rosa'sThaiCafE,23GantonStreet From summer rolls to comforting Thai green curry, Rosa's Thai Cafe more than adequately caters to the vegan community. One of the best-known Indian restaurants in London now offers an entire vegan menu, and in my opinion, it would be rude to go there and not order the gunpowder potatoes. Dishoom,22KinglyStreet Again, not the first place that springs to mind for a vegan, but it's a slick venue and their mock duck dishes are pretty impressive. TheDuck&Rice,90BerwickStreet Probably the best-known veggie/vegan restaurant in London, Mildreds often has a queue outside, and with good reason. From salad bowls to mushroom and ale pies, they've got it all. I recommend ordering the Sri Lankan curry. It's superb! Mildreds,45LexingtonStreet I could quite happily live on dumplings for the rest of my life and Yauatcha absolutely nails them.
