Project 0 exists to awaken the fight for the ocean. We are the ocean’s enterprise. With innovation at our core and the world’s most aspirational cultural makers and partners at our side, Project 0 engages a new generation with share-worthy content, experiences and products that create new revenue streams for the ocean. We create campaigns that get the world’s attention and put the ocean in culture to create a movement that inspires people to join us by adopting ocean-friendly behaviours to restore and protect the ocean. Our mission is to get 30% of the ocean under protection by 2030, ignite behavioural change and raise new sources of revenue. Scientists have determined that a minimum of 30% of the ocean needs to be under protection – places where ecosystems thrive and
teem with biodiversity and are healthy to mitigate the effects of negative impacts from overfishing and climate change. To start, we have identified 32 priority areas to receive funding to secure their sustainability in perpetuity and accelerate the restoration of the ocean.
