InfoFlex Keynote to Explore Flexo, Hybrid, Digital Convergence The 2026 FORUM INFOFLEX will kick-off it’s Tuesday, April 28 morning program with a keynote panel examining how flexographic, hybrid and digital technologies are con- verging to shape the future of packaging print. The session, titled Flexo, Hybrid, and Digital: Converg- ing Paths for the Future of Packaging Print , will take place from 8–9 a.m. at The Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wiscon- sin, and will be chaired by FTA Board Chair Paul Teachout, Business Development at OMET Americas. Joining Teachout on the panel are senior executives from leading printing equipment suppliers: • Jason Cagle, Director of Sales, Windmoeller & Hoelscher • David Ellen, Global Divisional Director, Domino • Steve Heinze, East Regional Vice President of Sales, Mark Andy • Steve Lynn, Executive Director, Durst • Windell McGill, Digital Press Launch Manager, BW Converting During the session, panelists will share their perspec- tives on how flexo, hybrid, and digital technologies are evolving to meet the changing demands of packaging and label production. The discussion will explore where each technology delivers the greatest value today, how integra- tion and innovation are reshaping production workflows,
and what this convergence means for future investment decisions. The keynote is designed to help converters, suppliers and industry professionals better understand how equip- ment advancements, automation and workflow integration are influencing long-term operational strategy. In other news, The FTA is introducing a new series of FTA Member Meetups in 2026, designed to strengthen connections within the flexographic community, encourage peer-to-peer engagement, and provide opportunities for members to interact directly with FTA leadership and staff. The meetups will take place once per quarter in different regions across the United States, creating accessible op- portunities for members to gather locally, exchange ideas, and stay connected with the evolving flexographic industry. Each meetup will feature a unique format, ranging from informal dinners and social gatherings to collaborative events and town hall-style discussions, allowing FTA to explore new ways of engaging members while gathering feedback to inform future programming. The first event in the series, “Break Bread with FTA,” will take place in Long Beach, California, on March 31 at La Parolaccia Osteria. Attendance for the event is free for both members and non-members, though registration is required. Additional meetups planned for 2026 include: June — Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas; September — Chicago, Illinois; November – Indianapolis, Indiana.
