Dear colleagues,
We are excited to present the first edition of the official newsletter from Shangri-La, Jeddah. The “Shangri -La, Jeddah – Beats” aims to highlight the latest activities on the people front and the product updates from our exciting flagship hotel. Our focus has been to infuse the Shangri-La culture in the hearts and minds of our colleagues and instill our leadership competencies in our people. We take pride in high performance and look to open the best hotel in the Kingdom with the right mix of local and international talent pool. This edition of the newsletter is inspired by the Red sea and the blue and beige accents that reflect in our design philosophy at the hotel. I wish to thank all the team members for their efforts in setting-up various across the hotel and driving the pre-opening departmental learning initiatives. With its location right on the new Jeddah Waterfront and within walking distance of the city’s largest shopping mall, Red Sea Mall, Shangri -La Jeddah positions you perfectly for a wide range of attractions and activities. From strolling the corniche to playing with the kids in one of the many parks or simply relaxing on the beach, our seaside hotel is the ideal base in one of the most livable parts of this vibrant city. Once again, I wish to thank all our members of the SLJD family for their commitment and relentless efforts. We look forward to an exciting opening of the first Shangri-La hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
