TrustMark is the only UK Government-endorsed quality scheme for work carried out in or around the home, whether that’s aerial and satellite installations, repairing a roof or installing solar panels. It is an independent quality assurance body that is passionate about quality, raising standards and ensuring consumers have appropriate protections in place when having work done. In this article Nicola Waller, Membership Director at TrustMark, explains the benefits of joining TrustMark and why the quality mark should be part of every CAI member’s toolkit. Being TrustMark registered can not only create new work opportunities for your business, but it will assure customers that you are a trustworthy and competent installer. Since we started in 2005, we have been working to help drive-up standards across the repair, improvement and maintenance (RMI) sector and improve consumer protection. As a longstanding Scheme Provider of TrustMark since 2015 and the only association for this trade, the CAI continues to be a great supporter and has a growing membership of installers who are TrustMark registered. Who is TrustMark? TrustMark is an independent, not-for-profit business which means we focus on our customers –tradespeople and homeowners - and constantly reinvest back into the scheme. We are licensed and endorsed by the Government’s Department of Business & Trade and operate under a Master Licence Agreement, which sets out what we do and how we do it.
