Lots 15 and 16 are a result of our small embryo transfer program. When we bought 60 cows from Kirby Josephson, we waited a few years and we picked our favorite old cow to flush. We really appreciate 038’s powerful body type combined with her feminine front end and excellent udder quality. We also liked the performance and the phenotype on her first two calves that she gave us after purchasing this group of cows. We believe that you make money in the cattle business by pounds weaned over the course of a lifetime. The mating to Square Deal was logical as his pedigree is full of Pathfinders that have proven to get pregnant on time and raise above average calves over and over and over again. The donor dam to this mating will calve in the spring of 2026 at our place at the age of 16 years old. We are proud to retain a couple of heifers in our herd from this mating as well.
