fully meet the needs of each individual. Our teachers are at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 12 relevant school-age units in col- lege and most have Bachelor’s degrees. All ethnicities are welcomed in our program and we serve a very diverse group of families at PACCC. We offer many great summer camps at PACCC. Our goal is to meet the needs of all kinds of children from the very active and out- door type, to the quieter more inside type. We believe in children having choice throughout their day so a child can participate or take a break from an activity whenever they like. We also want to be here for the working parents and realize that a full day of care is critical to meeting the needs of those families. We pride ourselves on offering a home like environment with two healthy snacks a day. We do what we can to partner with parents to meet the individ- ual needs of each child. Enriching Activities and Themes for those families with dual working parents
Our philosophy is to provide a full day pro- gram with enriching activities and themes for those families with dual working parents. Our programs operate from 7:30 in the morn- ing until 6 at night and offer many teacher led activities as well as student initiated activities in order to give kids a balanced day. We also have the benefit of air conditioned buildings that pro- vide kids a home like environment during the long, hot summer days. We are a play based program where children can pick from a variety of different themes to suit their interests. Our teacher child ratio is 1:10 Children can be dropped off any time in the morning with the main programming of the day starting at around 9 am. Activities, field trips, outdoor excursions, etc. happen between the hours of 9-4 and then from 4-6 pm it’s kids’ choice. We try to focus on the interests of the kids and keep them engaged throughout the day. If a child is still struggling, we enlist the help of the parent to see if there is more we can be doing to help make a child’s day more successful. We do what we can to work with each child and family to
