heard, before you can expect oth ers to listen to you.” I just spent 4 years working hard at “ earning the right to be heard.” I also spent 4 years listening and studying that I might grasp the real need of the Colombian Church, and how Latins think and react! I don’t know it all . . . but I am at least 4 years ahead of most people. When should I do it? Now! The harvest is now! Latin America is ripe . . . now! I received a letter from a wonderful national leader who said: “ You shouldn’t have left this year (he doesn’t understand much about deputation); you ought to be here now!” Why should I be sent? Because I’m ready, willing, and able to go, and represent first of all Jesus Christ, (who has called me to teach His Word, and has guided me to the spot where He wants me) and also to represent you to people that you can never reach personal ly! I’m ready to go. But I CAN’T because of lack of funds to get to the field, and to support my min istry there. I'm willing to go. I want to go more than anything else! I’m able to go. I’ve done my homework. I speak the language. I know the people, their culture, and their needs. By the grace of God, I have adapted myself to live, move, breathe, and thrive in that culture. Won’t you hear this cry . . . not just from my lips, but from the hearts of all those who are willing to be sent, but are waiting for co laborers to send them? Paul and Barnabas were separated by the Holy Spirit, but sent by the church. Those “ senders” lived in tough times back there too. Inflation, de pression, taxes they felt even if they didn’t know the words. But they were partners with Christ and with each other to get the big job done. Won’t you get involved in the greatest venture the world has known? Now you know what “ my thing” is . . . and why I don’t do it!

I speak English . . . and Spanish. Where can I do it? I can do it in Colombia. A man once said to me, “ When you get to Colombia, you must first earn the right to be
