Age 3 years Moving to the Infants’ School
The transition from the Kindergarten to the Infants’ School starts in the Duckling Room where children have access to the Infants’ School PE facilities, specialist Music teachers as well as the school’s well equipped hall, library and spacious playing fields. During the summer term, all the Duckling Room children visit either the Heron or Moorhen Class to familiarise themselves with their new class teachers and teaching assistants. By the end of their time in the Duckling Room, our aim is that children are confident in their social and learning skills and ready to embark on the next stage of their journey through DUCKS.
