• Do you tend to overspend? To make sure your shopping trip doesn’t send you into debt, bring along a calculator, some paper and a pen to keep track of your purchases as you go. • Ideally, shop alone or with one other person. On Black Friday, certain places will literally be overcrowded, which can make it very difficult to keep a large group together. In a similar vein, leave young children at home with someone you trust.
