CHRISTI A. FRUHWIRTH

Christi A. Fruhwirth currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Contracting, Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Ms. Fruhwirth is responsible for management and oversight of all contracting activity within the Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She is responsible for approximately 80 civilian contracting personnel and supporting 60+ Information Technology (IT) Systems totaling $259M in contract execution annually. Ms. Fruhwirth’s organization acquires, operates, and sustains operational support information technology systems for the Air Force and Department of Defense, launching high-confidence IT programs through conducting early system engineering, modeling, architectural design, and exploring the art-of-the-possible to mature requirements. Ms. Fruhwirth entered federal government in 1986. Throughout her 32- year civilian service career, she held a variety of administrative and

supervisory acquisition assignments at Hill Air Force Base, Utah and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Fruhwirth served as the principal representative to the Senior Executive Service, Director of Contracting, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, responsible for 3,900-person contracting workforce and 66,900 Command wide acquisition actions valued at $45.8B annually.
