DOUGLAS E. GREGORY, JR.

Mr. Douglas E. Gregory, Jr. is the Branch Chief for the C-130H Avionics Modernization Program (AMP), assigned to Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Mobility Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. He leads a team of 50+ personnel responsible for the development, production, fielding, and support of modernization efforts for the C-130H tactical airlift aircraft. Mr. Gregory was commissioned in 1986 at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Over his career, Mr. Gregory has served i n a variety of flying, test, and program management positions. After graduation from Undergraduate Navigator Training, he began his career as a KC-135A Navigator at Kadena AB, Japan. There, he flew operational missions throughout the Pacific, including a deployment supporting air bridge operations during DESERT SHIELD. His next assignment was at the Strategic Air Command KC-135 Combat Crew Training School (CCTS) as an instructor at Castle AFB, CA. His primary duties entailed training new navigators for initial qualification in the KC-135A/R. His next assignment was at Altus AFB, OK training qualified tanker navigators for instructor upgrade in the Central Flight Instructor’s Course (CFIC). Upon completion of over 3300 flying hours, Mr. Gregory was then assigned to Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Test and Evaluation Directorate where he managed test efforts including the KC-135R Multi-Point Refueling System (MPRS) and the KC-135R Global Air Transportation Management (GATM) modification. His next tour of duty was at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, where he has remained

serving in a variety of Program Manager (PM) positions, both military and civilian. These have included C-32A Material Leader, Presidential Aircraft Recapitalization Lead PM, and Chief, C-130J Production. His previous assignment was at Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Requirements Division serving as the Lead PM for Special Programs Integration.
