JOHN W. HAGIN John W. Hagin is the Chief, Logistics / Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) Program office Product Support Manager (PSM), Electronic Warfare and Avionics Division, Agile Combat Support Directorate (WN), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Wright Patterson AFB OH. He executes a $3.2B ACAT-IC special interest program, delivered advanced countermeasures protection to nation's combat/combat support aircraft for 54 weapons systems, 2,400 multi-service aircraft and support of 20K+ components for increased survivability and mission operations in high threat areas. Responsible for developing and implementing product support strategy and managing the support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of LAIRCM system. Ensure warfighter capability outcomes--materiel availability, materiel reliability, and operations and support cost affordability with cost, schedule, and performance.

Mr. Hagin has over 40 years professional experience with Department of Defense in logistics and sustainment, aircraft and electronics maintenance experience both as a manager and technician on numerous aircraft, helicopters, communications /computer systems, and air traffic control radar systems and associated support equipment. He began his military career in 1977 upon enlistment in the USAF. His experience in logistics and maintenance management was gained through assignments in Maine, Texas, Florida, New York, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Ohio. He served overseas in Alaska and Turkey, and served in eight campaigns and operations. He also oversaw and participated in Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) Special Operations, Presidential Phoenix Banner, and weather reconnaissance missions. He has held supervisory positions in all of his assignments (military and civilians) since 1978. He was promoted to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant in 1996. Mr. Hagin retired from active duty in May 2008 with 30+ years. In March 2008, Mr. Hagin began his civil service career as Manager, AFMC Logistics Compliance Assessment Team (LCAT), Performance Management Division, Directorate of Logistics (A4), HQ AFMC, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. He led and managed aircraft, equipment, supply chain, logistics, and munitions teams with 32-68 team members. The LCAT assesses AF units performing duties across the full spectrum of logistics. This included conventional force logistics units; nuclear and nuclear support units; cyber and space; special operations; wholesale-level procurement, sustainment, and maintenance to include depot maintenance activities; aerial port squadrons; logistics readiness squadrons; logistics support to research, test, and development units; and logistics support to special access programs. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Hagin was the Deputy Chief, Middle East/Central Asia Branch, International Division, Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate (AFSAC), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Wright Patterson AFB OH. He executed a $56.5B acquisition and sustainment portfolio with approximately 515 programs for more than 15 countries. He led, managed, and supervised 75 personnel. He also oversaw the development and execution of international agreements with foreign nations in support of US national security objectives. He ensured coalition interoperability and advised foreign leaders on capability upgrades and new equipment. He served as Command international liaison to SAF, DoD, NATO, US/foreign embassies and defense ministries.
