CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT BOBBI J. LYDON
Chief Master Sgt. Bobbi J. Lydon is dual hatted as the Superintendent, Commander’s Action Group and Air Force Element Senior Enlisted Advisor, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. As the Superintendent, she provides insight to a cross-functional team that develops key concepts, messaging, and strategic documents directly supporting the Commander, U.S. Transportation Command. Furthermore, she facilitates the flow of ideas and innovations across the staff and serves as the command focal point for executive-level communications where the commander or his designated representative is the principal speaker. Lastly, she serves as the command briefer for U.S. Transportation Command. As the Air Force Element Senior Enlisted Advisor, she advises the Chief of Staff on all matters impacting over 500 enlisted active duty, guard and reserve members assigned to the command. She is accountable for ensuring accurate tracking, utilization, training, and disciplinary inputs for her service in addition to shaping command policy and insight on matters related to the morale, welfare and discipline of the enlisted force.
Chief Lydon is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and entered the Air Force in March 1997. She is a combat experienced career Intelligence Analyst and has deployed extensively in support of numerous operations, serving in combined and joint organizations. Chief Lydon has held a variety of intelligence assignments within Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Combat Command, Pacific Air Forces, Air Mobility Command and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
