ROBERT D. WEEKS

Mr. Robert D. Weeks is the Chief of Contracts for the Strategic Services Division, Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. Mr. Weeks is directly responsible for planning, organizing and executing the activities for a 65 member, SCAT I and OSD Federally Funded Research and Development Center Division leveraging best of breed acquisition and source selection approaches to manage a $23B portfolio. He is responsible and accountable for effectively managing the performance of assigned employees across three branches to include one geographically separated unit in Ohio. He defines, establishes and directs the organization’s focus on exacting and delineating Better Buying Power tenants being utilized in the business/financial management decisions of 3 USD (AT&L) FFRDCs, as well as the integration of $5B in A&AS efforts across AFLCMC supporting PEO requirements . Mr. Weeks entered federal service in 2003 as a commissioned officer at Hanscom Air Force Base. In 2008 he became a federal civilian employee. Throughout his career, he has held key management positions within the Special Programs, MILSATCOM and Enterprise services communities. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Weeks was the Contracting Division Chief for the Family of Advanced Beyond Line of Sight Terminals Program, C3I&N Directorate, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. He was responsible for a portfolio that included developing, acquiring, deploying, and sustaining the next generation of MILSATCOM capabilities across the DoD.
