Gallus Gallus Group, a subsidiary of Heidelberg, has announced a planned evolution of its leadership team to support the company’s next phase of growth, in- novation, and customer partnership. Dario Urbinati will transition from his role as CEO of Gallus Group and join the Board of Directors of Gallus Ferd. Rüesch AG. He will then assume the role of President of the Board on January 1, 2027. Michael Bsirske, cur- rent Gallus Group CFO, will serve as interim CEO of Gallus Group. In addition, Uwe Boerner will become head of Global Sales while retaining his existing responsibility for key ac- counts. Anderson & Vreeland Hugo Simard has been named Technical Sales Represen- tative for Anderson & Vreeland Canada. Simard brings more than three decades of hands-on experience in the flexographic printing and converting industry. Simard began his career as a press operator and has continuously evolved alongside the industry. Driven by a passion for printing technology and process improvement, he has built an ca- reer spanning virtually every skilled role within a flexographic operation. This background allows him to un- derstand customer challenges from multiple perspectives, whether on the pressroom floor, in prepress, or within production management. With 32 years of industry experience, Simard has de- veloped extensive knowledge in both narrow web and wide web flexographic printing. His career includes lead- ership positions in technical management, machine instal- lation and servicing, mechanical troubleshooting, color management, ink technology, printing applications, lami- nation processes, and prepress operations.
