The American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, state licensing boards, and other sources provide codes of ethics, and it is important to know these codes of ethics and how to apply them. Engineering Ethics will be presented by Norbert J. Delatte, Jr., Ph.D., P.E., FACI, the M.R. Lohmann Endowed Professor of Engineering and the Head of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Oklahoma State University. He is also the author of Beyond Failure: Forensic Case Studies for Civil Engineers and Concrete Pavement Design, Construction, and Performance, 2nd Edition. In addition, he is the editor of ASCE’s Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities. Delatte is a licensed professional engineer in Ohio and Alabama and in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
