ما نوع وأسلوب العمل الذي تحب القيام به اآلن؟ أحـب التقـاط صـور فـن العمـارة ألنـك تكـون وحـدك مـع الكاميـرا والحامــل والموضــوع والطقــس فحســب. أســلوبي فــي التصويــر بسـيط للغايـة، تصويـر يتميـز بالبسـاطة الصارمـة. إنـه يؤكـد علـى التبايـن وعلـى دقّــة التكويـن، ويبتعـد عـن كثـرة األلـوان واألنمـاط. لقـد سـافرت فـي جميـع أنحـاء العالـم. مـا المواقـع المدهشـة التـي زرتهـا؟ وأيـن تحـب أن تذهـب فـي المسـتقبل؟ أحــب طوكيــو، المدينــة التــي تمــزج بسالســة بيــن التقاليــد والحداثــة. تتمتــع بتــراث ثقافــي غنــي، مــن معابــد قديمــة ومهرجانات تقليدية ومراسـم الشـاي، مع كونها أيضا في طليعة التقـدّم التقنـي. تنبـض الشـوارع بالحيـاة فـي أحياء مثل شـيبويا وشـينجوكو، وهنـاك عـدد ال يحصـى مـن بـارات “الرامـن” تتناثـر فــي أرجــاء المدينــة. جمال الطبيعة المذهل في نيوزيلندا ومناظرها الطبيعية الساحرة ال تُنســى أيضــاً، مــن الجبــال المغطــاة بالثلــوج والبحيــرات البكــر إلـى الغابـات الخضـراء والشـواطئ الخالبـة. غالبـا مـا يشـار إليهـا باسـم “أرض السـحابة البيضاء الطويلة” نظرا لتشـكيالت السحب البديعـة فيهـا، التـي تمنـح الصـور بعـدا دراميـا مذهـالً. أحــب مــزارع الشــاي الخصبــة فــي ســريالنكا، وجبالهــا الضبابيــة وشــواطئها الذهبيــة، وشــالالتها المتدفقــة، ومنتزهاتهــا الوطنيــة الغنيـة بالحيـاة البريـة. مطبخهـا لذيـذ، يمتـاز بمزيـج مـن النكهـات المتأثـرة بتقاليـد الطهـي الهنديـة والماليزيـة والهولنديـة. فـي كل مـرة أزور فيهـا كولومبـو، أذهـب إلـى مطعـم “فـات كـراب”، ألتذوق طبـق السـلطعون بالفلفـل الحـار المحضـر مـن السـلطعون الكبيـر. إال أننــي أود فــي المســتقبل تصويــر المزيــد مــن العمــارة الصينيــة المعاصرة. حتى اآلن زرت بكين ونانجينغ وشـنغهاي فقط، لكنني آمـل أن أجـول علـى نطـاق أوسـع فـي جميـع أنحـاء الصيـن لتوثيـق كل مشـاريعهم المعماريـة الحديثـة. لقـد بـرزت الصيـن كأكبر سـوق إنشـاءات فـي العالـم خـالل العقـد الماضـي، ونتيجـة لذلـك، شُــيّدت العديـد مـن المشـاريع الحديثـة الملفتـة.

The stunning natural beauty of New Zealand and its breathtaking landscapes is also memorable, from snow-capped mountains and pristine lakes to lush forest and picturesque beaches. It is often referred to as the “land of the long white cloud” due to its stunning cloud formations and these clouds create amazing dramatism on images. I also really like Sri Lanka’s lush tea plantations, misty mountains, golden beaches, cascading waterfall, and wildlife rich national parks. The cuisine is delicious: a fusion of flavours influenced by Indian, Malay, and Dutch culinary traditions. I love shooting architecture because you are on your own with just the camera, the tripod, the subject, and the weather. My photography style is very minimalistic, which is a form of photography that is distinguished by austere simplicity.
أحب التقاط صور فن العمارة ألنك تكون وحدك مع الكاميرا والحامل والموضوع والطقس فحسب. أسلوبي في التصوير بسيط للغاية، تصوير يتميز بالبساطة الصارمة . هل هناك مصورون أو مبدعون آخرون يلهمونك حالياً؟ أوالً، المصــور أندريــه كيرتــس، الــذي يســتخدم تقنيــات مبتكــرة مثــل الزوايــا غيــر التقليديــة، واالنعكاســات، واســتخدام الضــوء الطبيعــي لخلــق تراكيــب شــاعرية وملهمــة. صــوره غالبــا مــا تبــرز العناصـر الهندسـية والرسـومية الموجـودة فـي المشـاهد اليوميـة، ويرتقـي بهـا إلـى مسـتوى األعمـال الفنية، كما أن فـن اللحظة دائما مـا يملـي عليـه عملـه. ثانيـاً، المصـور المعمـاري بالتـزار كـوراب، الـذي تؤكـد أعمالـه علـى العالقـة بيـن العمـارة وبيئتها. يؤلف صوره بمهارة، ويسـلط الضوء علـى األشـكال والخطـوط والقـوام الهندسـي للمبانـي، يضـاف إلـى ذلـك التقاطـه تفاعـل الضـوء والظـل.

help of the lifeguard who recorded me on the phone while I was trying to swim, I managed to learn in a couple of weeks. After that, I did a course in free-diving and then I got my PADI scuba diving license. In the case of cinematography, this was easy because it was to create stories using images. Having studied documentary photography, it was easy to make videos using my knowledge. What’s the type and style of job you love to do now? I love shooting architecture because you are on your own with just the camera, the tripod, the subject, and the weather. My photography style is very minimalistic, which is a form of photography that is distinguished by austere simplicity. It emphasises sparseness and careful composition, shying away from overabundance of colour, patterns, or information. You’ve travelled all over the world. What have been some of the most mind-blowing locations and where would you love to go next? I love Tokyo, a city that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. It has a rich cultural heritage with ancient temples, traditional festivals, and tea ceremonies, while also being at the forefront of technological advancements. The vibrant street life is buzzing in neighbourhoods such as Shibuya and Shinjuku and there are countless ramen bars scattered throughout.
