Celebrating its 20 th anniversary in 2023, ADIHEX has earned local and international recognition for its efforts to promote the UAE’s cultural and sporting heritage. From its location at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre [ADNEC], the weeklong event offers a conducive environment for exhibitors to exchange experiences, meet partners and customers, and conclude deals, with 11 industry sectors covering 70,000 square metres of space. In fact, ADIHEX is now one of the world’s longest-running gatherings dedicated to hunting, equestrian, and outdoor sports – and the only one of its kind in the Middle East. Every year, visitors to the exhibition have the chance to discover and purchase the latest in camping, hunting, equestrian, and weaponry equipment from hundreds of brands, as well as witness exciting falcon and horse auctions, traditional performances, and unique competitions. There’s also an educational component – seminars and workshops for industry members and ‘play and learn’ activities for younger audiences. BIGGER AND BETTER: A STORY OF SUCCESS Starting as a regional trade show in September 2003, the first edition of ADIHEX hosted 40 exhibitors from 14 countries over a space of 6,000 square metres and welcomed around 45,000 visitors. It was honoured by the attendance of the late Sheikh bin Zayed Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAEʹs Founding Father, just one year before His Highness passed away.

، الـذي يحتفـل هـذا العـام بالذكـرى السـنوية 2023 يحظـى معـرض العشـرين لتأسيسـه، بتقديـر محلـي ودولـي واسـع نظـرا لمـا يبذلـه مـن جهـود فـي تعزيـز التـراث الثقافـي والرياضـي لدولـة اإلمـارات العربية المتحدة. ومن موقعه في مركز أبوظبي الوطني للمعارض “أدنيك”، يوفر الحدث الذي يستمر أسبوعا بيئة مواتية للعارضين لتبــادل الخبــرات، ومقابلــة الشــركاء والعمــاء، وإبــرام الصفقــات، 70 قطاعــا صناعيــا تغطــي مســاحة 11 مــع أجنحــة تنقســم إلــى ألـف متـر مربـع. فـي الواقـع، يعـد معـرض أبوظبـي الدولي للصيد والفروسـية اليوم واحـدا مـن أعـرق ملتقيـات العالـم المخصصـة للصيـد والفروسـية والرياضات الخارجية، وهو الوحيد من نوعه في الشرق األوسط. فــي كل عــام. يحظــى زوار المعــرض بفرصــة اكتشــاف واقتنــاء أحـدث معـدات التخييـم والصيـد والفروسـية واألسـلحة من مئات العامات التجارية، فضا عن مشـاهدة مزادات الصقور والخيول المثيـرة والعـروض التقليديـة والمسـابقات الفريـدة. كمـا أن هنـاك مكونـا تعليميـا هـو عبـارة عـن نـدوات وورش عمـل للمتخصصيـن وأنشـطة “العـب وتعلـم” للجمهـور األصغـر سـناً. أكبر وأفضل: قصة نجاح انطلقــت أول نســخة مــن هــذا المعــرض التجــاري اإلقليمــي فــي دولة على مسـاحة 14 عارضا من 40 ، واسـتضافت 2003 سـبتمبر ألـف زائـر. تشـرّف المعـرض 45 متـر مربـع، واسـتقبلت نحـو 6000 يومهـا بحضـور المغفـور لـه الشـيخ زايد بن سـلطان آل نهيان، األب المؤسـس لدولـة اإلمـارات العربيـة المتحـدة، قبـل عـام واحـد فقـط مـن وفاتـه، رحمـه هلل.

F or the outsider, the Arabian desert is a place of boundless beauty with an unforgivably harsh environment. But for the Emirati people, the desert is much more than mystifying sand sculptures and resilient ghaf trees. This vast, rugged landscape has helped shape their cultural history and social activity; it is where their ancestors were able to survive for generations thanks to their impeccable hunting skills. From training falcons and salukis to hunt game, to horse- riding, off-road driving, and camping, the desert life remains a crucial part of every Emirati’s identity and a source of pride. The significance of the UAE’s sporting heritage, which encompasses sustainable hunting, equestrian culture, and desert activities, is showcased annually through the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition [ADIHEX]. Geared towards business and consumer audiences, the event draws tens of thousands of visitors from around the world. These include traders and businessmen, falconers, hunting and equestrian enthusiasts, craftspeople, and outdoor sports fans, as well as dignitaries from around the world and the royal families of the region.

ال ترحـم. أمّــا بالنسـبة لإلماراتييـن، فالصحـراء هـي أكثـر بكثير من مجـرد منحوتـات رمليـة غامضـة وأشـجار غـاف قويّــة. إذ سـاعدت هــذه الطبيعــة الشاســعة والوعــرة فــي تشــكيل تاريخهــم الثقافــي ونشــاطهم االجتماعــي؛ إنّهــا المــكان الــذي تمكــن فيــه أســافهم مــن الصمــود والبقــاء ألجيــال بفضــل مهاراتهــم المذهلــة فــي الصيــد والقنــص. مـن تدريـب الصقـور والكاب السـلوقيّة إلى الصيد وركوب الخيل والقيـادة علـى الطـرق الوعـرة والتخييـم، تظل الحيـاة الصحراوية جـزءا مهمـا مـن هويـة كل إماراتـي ومصـدر فخـر لـه. يتـم عـرض أهميــة التــراث الرياضــي لدولــة اإلمــارات العربيــة المتحــدة، بمــا يشـمل الصيد المسـتدام وثقافة الفروسـية واألنشطة الصحراوية، سـنويا مـن خـال معـرض أبوظبـي الدولـي للصيـد والفروسـية. يستقطب الحدث، الموجه لجمهور األعمال والمستهلكين، عشرات آالف الزوار من جميع أنحاء العالم. ويشمل هؤالء التجار ورجال األعمال والصقارين وعشاق الصيد والفروسية والحرفيين وعشاق الرياضات الخارجية، فضا عن شخصيات بارزة من جميع أنحاء العالم والعائات الحاكمة في المنطقة.
