الداعمــون الدائمــون فــي هيئــة البيئــة – أبــو ظبــي، والصنـدوق الدولـي للحفـاظ علـى الحبـارى، وشـركة أدنيـك، يرعـون مـرة أخـرى معـرض هـذا العـام. كمـا تحظــى النســخة القادمــة بدعــم مــن لجنــة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية – أبوظبي، ووزارة الداخليـة، جمعيـة اإلمـارات للخيول العربية، وشــرطة أبوظبــي، وغرفــة أبوظبــي، ونــادي تــراث اإلمــارات، علــى ســبيل المثــال ال الحصــر. معاً، يعد هؤالء الرعاة والشركاء المتميزون ضرورة ال غنــى عنهــا للنجــاح المســتمر للمعــرض ولتواصــل تقدمــه، إذ ســاهموا بشــكل كبيــر فــي المشــاركة المجتمعيــة وجهــود زيــادة الوعــي. ثورة الصقور فـي كل نسـخة، يسـعى المعـرض إلـى تعزيـز صناعـة تربيـة الصقـور العالميـة وتشـجيع اسـتخدام الصقـور المرباة في األسر في عمليات الصيد بالصقور. تمثل تربية الصقور في األسر ثورة في إحياء هذا التراث األصيــل، حيــث تســاهم فــي تخفيــف الضغــط علــى الصقـور البريـة وفـي زيـادة أعدادهـا. ومـع ذلـك، كان هنـاك دائمـا اعتقـاد خاطـئ بـأن الصقـور البريـة هـي األفضـل فـي الصيـد. نجــح معــرض أبوظبــي الدولــي للصقــور والفروســية فــي الترويــج لفكــرة أن الصقــور التــي تمــت تربيتهــا فـي األسـر تتمتـع بنفـس قـدرات الصيـد مثـل الصقـور البريـة، بشـرط أن تُرعـى وتـدرَّب علـى مبادئ سـليمة. وقد حقق الحدث هذا األمر بعدة طرق. في كل عام، علـى سـبيل المثـال، يقـوم البرنامـج بتعريـف الزائرين على برنامج الشيخ زايد إلطاق الصقور، الذي أطلق صقـرا مـن 2150 أكثـر مـن 1995 منـذ بدئـه فـي العـام صقور الشاهين والصقر الحر، ما يتيح لها التكاثر في موطنهـا األصلـي ومـن ثـم مضاعفـة أعدادها.

Long-time supporters the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi [EAD]; International Fund for the Houbara Conservation, and ADNEC are once again sponsoring ADIHEX this year. The forthcoming edition also has the support of the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, Ministry of Interior, Emirates Arabian Horse Society, Abu Dhabi Police, Abu Dhabi Chamber, Emirates Heritage Club, to name a few. Together, these distinguished sponsors and partners have been essential for the exhibition’s ongoing success and progression, contributing significantly to its community engagement and awareness-raising efforts. REVOLUTIONISING FALCONRY In every edition, ADIHEX has sought to enhance the global falcon breeding industry and encourage the use of captive- bred falcons in falconry. The breeding of falcons in captivity represents a revolution in the revival of this authentic heritage as it contributes to relieving pressure on wild falcons and to increasing their numbers. However, there has always been a misconception that wild falcons are better hunters. ADIHEX has succeeded in promoting the idea that captive- bred falcons have the same hunting abilities as wild falcons, provided they are cared for and trained based on sound
كمـا يعمـل الصنـدوق الدولـي للحفـاظ علـى الحبـارى فـي هـذا الحـدث علـى اسـتعراض مشـاريعه للحفـاظ علــى الحبــارى، ويمنــح الزائريــن فرصــة مشــاهدة الحبــارى الحيــة، الطيــور المهاجــرة التــي لهــا عاقــة ، أطلقت المنظمة 1998 تقليدية بالصقارة. منذ العام ألـف طيـر مـن هـذا النـوع المهـدد 550 مـا يقـرب مـن دولـة. 17 باالنقـراض فـي يتســم الصيــد بالصقــور فــي شــبه الجزيــرة العربيــة عـام، 4000 بتاريـخ طويـل جـدا يمتـد إلـى أكثـر مـن وذلك وفقا لتقديرات منظمة األمم المتحدة للتربية والعلـم والثقافـة “اليونسـكو”. وعبـر تلـك اآلالف مـن السـنين، تطـور التقليـد مـن شـكل أساسـي للصيد في أرض شحيحة الموارد، إلى رياضة تقليدية مرتبطة بحمايـة الطبيعـة واحتـرام الحيوانات. في هذا السياق، تغيرت العديد من عناصر الصقارة. فعلــى ســبيل المثــال، كانــت الصقــور تحتــوي علــى أجــراس علــى أرجلهــا حتــى يتمكــن أصحابهــا مــن العثــور عليهــا. فــي الوقــت الحاضــر، يتــم اســتخدام أجهــزة تتبــع مثــل المســيرات الطائــرة، مــا يجعــل الرحلة أقصر وأسهل بكثير. وبينما اعتاد الصيادون فــي العصــور القديمــة علــى خياطــة عيــون الصقــور
principles. The event has accomplished this in several ways. Every year, for instance, it introduces visitors to the Sheikh Zayed Falcon Release Programme, which since its launch in 1995 has released more than 2,150 Peregrine and Saker falcons, enabling them to breed in their original habitat and multiply. The International Fund for the Houbara Conservation also showcases its conservation projects at the event and gives visitors the opportunity to observe live houbara bustards – migratory birds that have a traditional relationship with falconry. Since 1998, the organisation has released almost 550,000of the critically endangered bird species to 17 countries. Falconry in the Arabian Peninsula has a very long history that stretches back over 4,000 years, according to estimates by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization [UNESCO]. Throughout these millennia, the tradition has evolved from an essential form of hunting in a resource-scarce land, to a traditional sport that is linked to nature conservation and respect for animals. In this context, many elements of falconry have changed. For example, falcons used to have bells on their legs so that their owners could find them. Nowadays, tracking devices such as drones are used, making the journey much easier and shorter. And while in ancient times, hunters used to stitch the eyes of the untamed falcons after capture to
