الجامحــة بعــد أســرها لتجنــب الهجمــات وبغــرض تدريبهـا، قبـل فكهـا بعـد ذلك؛ تُسـتخدم اليوم أغطية مصنوعـة بشـكل جميـل [تُعـرف باسـم البرقـع] مزينة باألحجــار الكريمــة والتصميمــات المذهلــة لتغطيــة عيــون الصقــر وتهدئتــه عندمــا ال يصطــاد. لتثقيــف الــزوار حــول الرمزيــة التاريخيــة لغطــاء الصقــور ولتشــجيع تصنيــع معــدات الصقــور، أقــام المعــرض مســابقة ســنوية لـ“أجمــل برقــع للصقــور”. تــم إطــاق المســابقة فــي النســخة التاســعة عشــرة، وتقيّــم المشـاركات بنـاء علـى مسـتوى راحـة الغطـاء وجـودة المـواد والمظهـر الجمالـي والسـعر- وتقتصـر ، 2022 علــى األغطيــة المصنوعــة يدويــاً. فــي العــام دولـة، بـرز 15 حرفيـا مـن 32 اجتذبـت هـذه المبـادرة ثاثــة منهــم كفائزيــن. انطاق مسابقة جديدة 2023 كما ستشهد دورة العام لـ“أجمل وأفضل وكر تقليدية للصقور”، والذي يجب أن يكـون مصنوعـا يدويـا أيضـاً. تصنع أوكار الصقور عــادة مــن الخشــب أو المعــدن، وتُغطّــى بالجلــد أو اللبــاد أو الســجاد أو العشــب الصناعــي، ويجــب أن تكـون متينـة لضمـان وقـوف الطيـور الجارحـة عليهـا بشــكل مريــح لفتــرة طويلــة مــن الزمــن. وفــي حيــن توجد عدة أشكال ألوكار الصقور اليوم، فإن الشكل الخشـبي التقليـدي لـه مظهـر خـاص يعبـر عـن اإلرث األصلـي للصقـارة.

To educate visitors about the historical symbolism of the falcon hood and to encourage the manufacture of falconry equipment, ADIHEX has created an annual competition for the “Most Beautiful Falcon Hood”. Launched in the 19 th edition, the competition evaluates entries based on the hood’s comfort level, quality of material, aesthetic appearance, and price – and is limited to handmade hoods. In 2022, the initiative attracted 32 craftspeople from 15 countries, three of whom emerged as winners. A new competition set to launch in 2023 will look for the “Most Beautiful and Best Traditional Falcon Stand ” , which must also be handmade. Typically made of wood or metal and covered in leather, felt, carpet, or artificial grass, a falcon stand must be sturdy to ensure the raptor can stand on it comfortably for a long period of time. While there are many forms of the falcon stand today, the traditional wooden one has a special appearance that expresses the original legacy of falconry. Also launching at the next edition of ADIHEX is a competition for the “Best Integrated Set of Falconry Tools for Hunting Trips”. For falconers who wish to raise or train a falcon, acquiring a set of essential tools is crucial. These include the falcon hood, gauntlet, jess [a thin strap used to tether a falcon], leash, swivel, tracking device, traditional lure,
