مــن أنمــاط الحيــاة القديمــة أو المهــن التراثيــة، وأن يُســهم العمــل المُقــدّم فــي اســتدامة الصناعــات اليدويــة، وفــي إبــراز تفاصيــل البيئــة اإلماراتيــة ومُقوّماتهــا باســتخدام مــواد طبيعيــة. فــي الوقــت نفســه، تســاهم لجنــة إدارة المهرجانــات والبرامــج الثقافية والتراثية – أبوظبي إسهاما كبيرا في الحفاظ على التراث الثقافـي لدولـة اإلمـارات من خال مشـاركتها فـي معرض أبوظبي الدولي للصيد والفروسية. مع أجنحة عديدة مخصصة للمنتجات التقليديـة، مثـل األزيـاء الوطنيـة والخناجر القديمة، باإلضافة إلى فعاليات شهيرة مثل شاعر المليون ومهرجان الظفرة، تقود اللجنة مسـيرة الترويـج للتراث الثقافـي لدولة اإلمارات. التشجيع على الصيد المستدام أحــد أســباب تزايــد شــعبية معــرض أبوظبــي الدولــي للصيــد والفروسـية هـو أنـه المعـرض التجـاري الوحيـد فـي اإلمـارات الـذي يسـمح للزوار بشـراء أسـلحة الصيد والرماية. ويشـمل ذلك بنادق الصيد والمسدسات والسيوف والخناجر التراثية ووحدات الرماية الخشـبية والباسـتيكية والبنـادق الهوائيـة ضمـن معاييـر محـددة. باإلضافة إلى ذلك، يعرض العارضون مجموعة واسعة من معدات الصيــد وملحقاتهــا، مــن مناظيــر، ومناظيــر البندقيــة، ومناظيــر استكشــاف وتلســكوبات، وأجهــزة تحديــد المــدى، ومجموعــات تنظيـف األسـلحة، وحقائـب النقـل.
يحتفـل معـرض أبوظبـي الدولـي للصيـد والفروسـية بالسـلوقي العربـي مـن خـال تنظيم مسـابقة سـنوية تسـتعرض جمـال هـذه السـالة المميـزة مـن الـكاب. المســابقة التــي ينظمهــا مركــز الســلوقي العربــي، مفتوحــة لفئتــي الحــص واألريــش للذكــور، وكذلــك لإلنــاث. تــم تقييــم الــكاب المشــاركة بنــاء علــى سـالتها وسـلوكها ومظهرهـا ومهـارات الصيـد لديهـا، حيـث حصـل الفائـزون الثاثة األوائـل العام الماضي درهم، بعدما 3000 درهم و 5000 درهم و 8000 على مشــاركاً. 97 جذبــت المســابقة إلــى جانــب الصقــارة ورياضــات الفروســية، يضــم معرض أبوظبي الدولي للصيد والفروسية قطاعات متنوعــة أخــرى، مثــل الفنــون والحــرف اليدويــة؛ الحفــاظ علــى البيئــة والتــراث الثقافــي؛ مركبــات ومعــدات الترفيــه فــي الهــواء الطلــق؛ المنتجــات والخدمــات البيطريــة؛ معــدات الصيــد والرياضــات البحرية؛ ووسائل اإلعام. في مجال الصيد، خصص المعرض أقساما لرحات الصيد والسفاري، ومعدات الصيد والتخييم، وأسلحة ومعدات الصيد والرماية. يمثـل قطـاع الفنـون والحـرف فـي معـرض أبوظبـي الدولـي للصيـد والفروسـية منصـة مهمّــة لإلماراتيين المبدعيــن، أفــرادا ومؤسســات، لعــرض إبداعاتهــم المتميــزة والتواصــل مــع الجمهــور. لتشــجيعهم علــى المشــاركة، أطلــق معــرض أبوظبــي الدولــي للصيــد والفروســية مســابقة العــام الماضــي ألفضــل مجسّــمات المشــغوالت التراثيــة. مــن بيــن شــروط ومعاييـر الترشّــح للفـوز، أن يكـون العمـل مـن إنتـاج وأن يتـم عرضـه خـال فعاليـات الـدورة 2023 العـام مـن المعـرض، وأن يكـون العمـل مُعبّــرا عن نمط 20 الــ

ADIHEX celebrates the Arabian Saluki by organising an annual contest that showcases the beauty of this special dog breed. Organised by the Arabian Saluki Center, the contest is open to the Hoss [smooth] and Aryash [feathery] male and female categories. It evaluates participating dogs based on their breed, behaviour, appearance, and hunting skills, with the top three winners awarded AED 8,000, AED 5,000, and AED 3,000. Last year, the contest attracted 97 participants. Besides falconry and equestrian sports, ADIHEX features other diverse sectors, such as and arts and crafts; the preservation of the environment and cultural heritage; outdoor recreational vehicles and equipment; veterinary products and services; fishing and marine sports equipment; and media. In the hunting domain, it has dedicated sections for hunting and safari trips, hunting and camping equipment, and hunting weapons. The arts and crafts sector at ADIHEX represents an important platform for creative Emiratis - both individuals and institutions - to display their outstanding creations and communicate with the public. To encourage their participation, ADIHEX launched a competition last year for the best sculptures of traditional handcrafts. Among the criteria is that the artwork must be produced in 2023 and displayed during the 20 th edition of ADIHEX. It should also express ancient lifestyles or traditional professions and highlight details of the local environment using natural materials.
Meanwhile, the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi contributes immensely to the preservation of the UAE’s cultural heritage during its participation in ADIHEX. With multiple pavilions dedicated to traditional products like national costumes and ancient daggers as well as its famous events such as Million’s Poet and Al Dhafra Festival, the Committee leads the way when it comes to promoting the UAE’s cultural heritage. EMPHASIS ON SUSTAINABLE HUNTING One of the reasons behind ADIHEX’s growing popularity is that it’s the only trade show in the UAE that allows visitors to buy hunting and shooting weapons. This includes hunting rifles, pistols, heritage swords and daggers, wooden and plastic archery units, and airguns within specific criteria. In addition, exhibitors showcase a wide range of hunting equipment and accessories, from binoculars, riflescopes, spotting scopes and telescopes to rangefinders, gun cleaning kits and transport cases. According to the event’s guidelines, each UAE citizen over the age of 21 can acquire up to three weapons from the exhibition. Visitors of all other nationalities are allowed to purchase hunting weapons, as long as they have a no-objection letter issued from the competent authority in their country and have applied for a purchase permit and weapon license through the UAE Ministry of Interior’s website.
