Long time customers of ours, Ferebee Crops and Cattle, have brought us an outstanding set of home raised heifers all AI bred to our herd sire WSM Commander 1055J and due to start calving April 1, 2027. Heifers were ultra sounded by Dr. Katie Finley the first week of October. We have used this bull since a yearling and has proven he is a sleep all night kind of heifer bull without giving up performance. These heifers stem from genetics that have focused on maternal and performance traits
and will make the easy keeping kind of cow. All the work is done, they are current on all spring and fall vaccinations, including bangs, so they can go anywhere and go to work for you. The Ferebee’s have offered a winter-feeding option on these gals as well. The winning bidder will have the option to keep the heifers at the Ferebee ranch and have them feed them until March 1 if so desired for $3/hd /day. If you would like to take them home, we ask that the buyer does so within a week of sale day. Contact info: Robert Ferebee: 701-260-4772 or Clay Ferebee: 701-590-3403

The Murphy’s have put together a nice group of heifers from neigh- boring ranches that all use Wasem genetics. This group is bull bred to low birth weight Wasem bulls and will start calving April 7 – April 30. Heifers were ultra sounded by Dr. Mary Lemieux Sept. 27. They are
currently being fed a TMR and are current on all vaccinations, have had their first round of scour guard and been poured late September. The temperament of these heifers is outstanding and will go onto make some good cows. Pick up at the ranch south- east of Killdeer. If you are interested in winter feeding, please contact Wasem Red Angus and we can discuss options, or if you would like to take them home, the Murphy’s would like them to be picked one week after the sale date.
