Inventory has been a common theme in our discussions over the last several months. And although it has been steadily increasing over the course of this year, we will take a closer look at the make-up of the current homes available in our local market.

The number of homes for sale is up 12% since the beginning of March. But with over 1,900 homes for sale, how many are available that have the features buyers are looking for…

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION The chart above shows how inventory is currently distributed in our area. The relative size of the bubbles represents the number of homes for sale in that city.

Most of current inventory is in the coastal market. Things are more evenly distributed inland, albeit much fewer in number.

Limited options in the non-coastal areas are keeping prices up and leading to low days on market. Homes are going under contract very quickly, especially ones that are move-in ready at affordable price points!
