Congratulations to the Class of 2025! It is an incredible honor to celebrate you today on your graduation from Reedley College. Your journey to this moment is shaped by the kind of determination that doesn’t give up. Today is about your achievement, but it’s also about your resilience, your courage, and the belief you held onto, even when things got tough. Earning a college degree is no small feat, and I am deeply proud of each one of you.
As Chancellor of the State Center Community College District, I have the privilege of witnessing how education transforms lives, and your journey is a powerful reminder of that truth. Carry with you the knowledge, courage, and compassion you gained here. Commencement means beginning, and whether you're stepping into a new job, transferring to a university, or chasing a dream still taking shape, this is just the start of something exciting. Your education opened a door, and now the path ahead is yours to choose. As you move forward, I encourage you to stay curious. Lifelong learning isn’t just about degrees or certificates - it’s about the mindset of always growing, always exploring, and always seeking to understand the world and your place in it. Take a moment to reflect on the people who helped you reach this day - those who encouraged you, challenged you, and stood beside you. Their belief in you mattered.
