E-magen Acquires Suite Of Hybrid Solutions

E-magen, prepress service provider for flexo- graphic printing, has acquired a comprehen- sive suite of Hybrid Software solutions. This investment is reportedly an industry first in Argentina.

The suite includes PACKZ, native, open-standard PDF editor tailored for the label and packaging market with the PACKZ Connector for GMG Color; CLOUDFLOW, a secure, cloud-based platform that stream- lines editing and approval processes for print shops, converters, and clients; Packzflow, designed to optimize workflow across all PACKZ-related tasks; and Proofscope, a com- prehensive and secure HTML-based solution for creating digital proofs and enabling collab- orative review. E-magen also acquired Roundtrip, a tool that enables deeper integration with original Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files, said the company. These files can now be opened directly in PACKZ while preserving their complete struc- ture—including metadata and object hierar- chies—ensuring seamless editing and work- flow continuity. In addition, the company announced stra- tegic investments in Intelligent Flexo and Vel- vet Screening for flexo, two Hybrid Software technologies designed to optimize screening patterns.

Through its website ThePackagingPortal, Brunton is the leading daily source of industry news for the folding carton, corrugated and re- covered fibre industries globally. The company additionally publishes International Paper Board Industry and The Packaging Portal Newslet- ter magazines. This partnership will allow Labelexpo to communicate directly with
