Sanford, Florida City Chambers became the vi- brant canvas for Shoosty® Bugs V2 , a captivating fusion of color science and nature’s boundless cre- ativity. In this remarkable art show, approximately 30 intricate pieces come to life, each meticulously printed using duplex on both sides of silk fabric—a symphony of hues that shifts between front and back. Yes, that’s a staggering 60 unique artworks in total, a testament to my unwavering dedication. My secret weapon? The iPad Pro and Apple Pen - cil, wielded with my innovative technique— “Vec- tor Painting.” With astonishing speed, I birthed around 15 paintings per month, a whirlwind of creativity. But the journey didn’t end there. Manu- facturing and shipping awaited, demanding metic - ulous planning. Countless hours are poured into my craft. I reveled in perfecting my skills, pushing boundaries. Like a virtual traveler, I explored global art styles via the internet, soaking in inspiration from every corner and applied them to these images. Why silk? Its allure, primarily. And what better hom - age to my bug-inspired art than fabric spun by the Bombyx Mori, the illustrious silk moth? Silk embod- ies elegance, the perfect canvas for my vision. But here’s where the tale transcends borders. Chi - na, the very birthplace of silk, hosted the printing process. An international dance of creativity un- folded—a nod to art’s collaborative spirit. My cho- sen manufacturer possessed a rare skill: duplex printing. Both sides of the fabric bore identical im- ages, save for a subtle color shift. Yet, challenges arose. Technical hurdles tested my mettle. Some colors, more reactive than oth- ers, bled through the 18 mm silk, creating beautiful anomalies. These imperfections, like brushstrokes of fate, remain woven into the fabric—a testament to resilience and artistry. These are the definition of first edition. And so, from Sanford’s heart, Shoosty® Bugs V2 emerges—a symphony of silk, science, and sheer passion.
