About Philip Nimmo
Although Nimmo was a gifted student who enjoyed all subjects, he has always had a penchant for art and immersed himself in art electives in high school. In one leatherworking class, he made a satchel accented by hand-hammered copper detail. Nearly 50 years later, he has held true to those early instincts, and you can see echoes of those same design elements in his furniture today.

Nimmo attended the University of Southern California to study business management, but he transitioned to join staff at the then-newly formed Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he studied under the legendary Horst Schulze. Nimmo quickly worked his way up to become the corporate director of banquets.
