Jesus prom ised He would come, and when He came into the h earts, of the people, He m a d e th em very happy; and something else, He made them w ant to go out and tell others about Jesus, and of course as they told others about Jesus and His wonderful love for them, they too gave th e ir h earts to Jesus, and very soon th ere were a g reat many people who loved Jesus.. A t first they did not have churches like we have, so they m et in th e homes of th e people. Then afte r a while these people gave money to build churches, so God could have a house down h ere on ea rth where the people could come to worship Him. L isten, boys and girls,, do you know t h a t a g reat many of th e churches in our land today, grew out of a Sunday School, th a t is th ere was a Sunday School th e re first. Some man or woman th a t loves Jésus moves into a place where th ere is no church, g ath ers the boys and girls together in th eir home and has Sunday School, T h ese > boys and girls find out w hat a good time they have in Sunday School, and -keep bringing in -more boys- and girls, and p retty soon th ere are so1many boys and girls and grown folks too ,-th at they ièah
