Mondo’s bet on innovation revolutionizes artificial turf systems for softball fields and baseball fields . The company, through its RDI lab and its artificial turf production center introduces the new UNITE. UNITE adds a heat-sealing process to fiber tufting thus uniting two independent backings. The result? More resistant turf, better water drainage and full respect for the environment.

UNIITE provides an artificial turf system that guarantees the best playing conditions: its excellent sports function and technique paired with ultra tear resistant fibers thanks to the its two heat- sealed backings. The UNITE systems also features DUAL monofilaments that provide an unprecedented level of resilience, i.e.,. the ability to return to its original state.

Backing filaments are bound to the backing by heat- sealing them to the backing, thus sealing the filament inlet and outlet openings by fusing both elements and avoiding the use of binding agents of adhesives such as latex or polyurethane.

ECOFILL ® INFILL Ecofill® possesses all the properties of natural earth from quantifiable safety to performance standards. This dynamic infill allows players to accelerate, pivot and make traction and torso movements which mimic those made on natural turf. EXCELLENT DRAINAGE The new backing resulting from thermal fusion is fully permeable, therefore, there is no need to punch drainage holes in it. UNITE provides better drainage compared to systems featuring traditional backings and also improves resistance and dimensional stability. 100% RECYCLABLE Double backings can be fully recycled at the end of its life due to the compatibility of all their polymer components. Besides, UNITE manufacturing process does not involve the use of binding agents such as latex or polyurethane.
