The widely and wrongly used term of “Christian” throws confusion upon the minds of earnest seekers today. A “ Christian” is not essentially a native of the United States, nor is every church member or even morally good man a "Christian.” A Christian is a believer in and a follower of Christ Jesus, our wonderful Saviour, Lord of all. I. IN CHRIST WE LIVE. Often men assert that the world owes them a living, and some even add that they intend to get it. In the light of Acts 17:25, 26, this is an ex­ tremely unfair claim. Young people, let us not grow into manhood and womanhood with such an attitude toward life! God gave human life to all; it is His gift to us. Certainly we owe a debt to Him and to our fellow men. Since He daily supplies every essential of human need, ought we not to look to our abundantly-able God with thankful and joyful hearts? : Mr. Nash (Biola ’40) is assistant pastor of the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, Los Angeles, Calif. As a member of the “Biola Trumpeters,” he has had unusual contact with hundreds of young people through 30,000 miles of national tours. Miss Pickett (Biola ’43) is a member of the Wycliffe Bible Translators and is stationed in Juchitan, Oaxaca, Mex., where she is translating the Word of God into the Zapoteca language. Last summer she was an instructor at the Summer Institute of Linguistics, Bacone College, Muskogee, Okla.
