Lewertoff received the Governor General’s "DBEFNJD.FEBM IBWJOHFBSOFEUIFIJHIFTU average in Grade 11 and Grade 12 courses. “We grew up wanting to be older, wanting UPCFMJLFUIFIJHITDIPPMFST/PX IFSFXF are. We are done. Graduating is a special time for all of us. The last moment before we all start our new chapter. This day is a time of reflecting on the past and looking forward to the future. It is a time as a graduating class, as we come together, one last time in ‘hurray’ before moving on to greater opportu- nities and adventures,” stated valedictorians Cassielle Bles and Sydney Ferreira.

Favour Achu and Even Jaquemet stepped up to the podium at the end of the ceremony to give their final speech in high school as valedictorians and were presented the Kin Club of Russell Valedictorian Awards. “Standing before you today, reflecting on the past four years of our high school journey, we are filled with a mix of emotions. I’m sure we all remember the nervous excitement of our first day of high school, where we started your high school journey at RHS. Or join us in later years, we have all experienced that bittersweet nostalgia of our final year together. And now, we are getting ready to walk out of the Atrium doors for the last time,” expressed the valedictorians during their commencement speech.
Russell High School (RHS) hosted its 17th annual graduation ceremony, bidding adieu to the graduating class of 2024. On June 26, Russell High School handed diplomas to the 85 students who walked along the stage in the school’s gymnasium. Over 55 awards, scholarships and bur- saries ranging from $100 to $1,000 were handed out to the deserving students. The gymnasium was filled with family members and friends encouraging the re- cent grads celebrating and showcasing their achievements. Kate Kingswood received the Lieutenant Governor’s Award, who demonstrated out- standing community contributions and Evan Jaquemet received the Governor General’s
